Visitors’ entry at Chennai airport banned

Visitors’ entry at the airport here was banned from today for an unspecified period, airport sources said.

The move was based on the directions from Union Home Ministry for security reasons and visitors would not be allowed in both domestic and international terminals, they said.

The ban will be in force till further announcements from the Ministry, they said.
