The Pudukottai Principal and Sessions Judge, A. Pazhanisamy, on Saturday directed Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Vijayakant to appear before the court here on December 19 in a case filed against him for allegedly making defamatory remarks against Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
