Vasan unveils party flag

Former Union Minister G.K Vasan, who recently formed a newly political outfit after quitting Congress, on Wednesday released the flag of his new party.

The flag contained pictures of his father the late G.K. Moopanar, Congress stalwart Kamaraj.

Mr. Vasan said he will announce the name of the party on November 28 and process of registering his party with the Election Commission is underway.

On November 3, Mr. Vasan and his supporters quit Congress.The split was indeed more serious than was expected with many senior leaders of the erstwhile Tamil Manila Congress (TMC), which was floated by Mr. Vasan’s father G.K. Moopanar, moving to the new outfit.
