Vaikunta Ekadasi at Srirangam

The opening of the "Paramapada vasal" signifies the most important ritual of the entire 20-day festival. All religious schedules were carried out in accordance with the 'lagnam'. Namperumal, left the sanctum sanctorum at 3.30 a.m. in the Virichiga lagnam. The 'Paramapada vasal' was opened at 4.30 a.m., amidst a sea of humanity.

Kindly accept our sincere thanks for the superb photo of Lord Perumal @vaikunda ekadesi.

For people who are away from India it is a boon to have darshan of Namperumal in Vaikundavasal. I am in Sydney and it is very thoughtful of The Hindu to present vividly Ranganadha's Sevai on Vaikunda Ekadasi Day.Many thanks to you.
