A fun jaunt post their school farewell turned fatal for two Plus Two students from Vellore here after the young boys drowned in KRP reservoir on Tuesday.
The victims, B.Sadiq (17) and his friend Y. Kabir, along with two other friends Yousuf (17) and Fazith (17), all from Vellore, had visited the dam here.
According to the police, the boys studying in Plus Two at a Urdu school in Vellore had planned an evening out after their school farewell party. At Krishnagiri reservoir, Sadiq and Kabir along with the two others were bathing in the water, when they were pulled by the water current and drowned.
Bodies retrieved
Their bodies were retrieved by the fire service personnel here.
