Two persons were killed and one grievously injured after a container lorry lost control and hit two-wheelers here on Thursday. The victims Akhtar Syed (25) and Rehmatullah (25) were on their two-wheeler heading from Athibelli to Hosur at the time of the accident.
According to the police, a container lorry that was heading to Hosur from Bengaluru lost control and went on to hit two vehicles. While Akhtar Syed was killed on the spot, Rehmatullah who was pillion riding was injured grievously. Sundar (54), another motorcyclist was also injured. Rehmatulah succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital. The lorry driver escaped from the scene of accident.
