Two held for bid to burgle bank

Two persons were arrested on Wednesday on a charge of attempting to burgle a primary agriculture cooperative bank near Kayathar a couple of weeks ago. According to Kovilpatti Assistant Superintendent of Police Murali Rambha, the two were nabbed while a police team was checking vehicles at Kayathar. Investigations revealed that they were involved in similar cases in Nagercoil and Kerala. The police also seized a motorcycle and tools used by them to break open doors. Kayathar police arrested them under Sections 457 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.
