Tribal hamlets get power supply

District Collector P. Umanath inaugurated the electricity supply to 50 houses in three tribal hamlets coming under Velliangadu panchayat in Pilloor reserve forests at a function on Saturday.

The beneficiaries included 13 houses in Kudapatti village, 17 in Sundapatti and nine houses in Veppamarathur. Chief Engineer of TNEB, Thangavel and District Forest Officer V. Thirunavukkarasu participated in the function.

Officials from Tamil Nadu and Kerala State Electricity Board took part.
