“Transfer issue to be resolved soon”

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Saturday said the conflict between the Puducherry government and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) over the transfer of Finance Secretary and others would be resolved soon.

He told TheHindu here that things were on the right track and a solution would be arrived at soon. It would happen at the right time.

Meeting with Shinde

Asked about the outcome of his meeting with the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde in New Delhi a few days ago, Mr. Rangasamy said the meeting went off well.

Mr. Shinde gave a patient hearing to the demands of Puducherry on various issues, Rangasamy said.
