Training programme

A training programme on shrimp farming is scheduled to be held at Tharuvaikulam on August 29.

The Department of Coastal Aquaculture, Tharuvaikulam, which functions under the control of Fisheries College and Research Institute (FCRI) would conduct the programme. According to a statement from the FCRI on Wednesday, the programme is aimed at imparting knowledge and creating awareness of shrimp farming. The participants would be taught of various aspects of shrimp farming along with demonstrations. Interested candidates could register their names to Professor and Head, Department of Coastal Aquaculture, School of Aquaculture, FCRI, Tharuvaikulam – 628 105, Thoothukudi District on or before August 28 within 5 pm.
