Traffic diversion for four days from tomorrow

The traffic wing of the police proposed to enforce diversion at Aaralvoimozhi between March 25 and 28 in view of laying of paver blocks.

An official statement said paver blocks are to be laid for about 300 metres at Aaralvoimozhi as the national highway is in a bad condition. In view of the work, all vehicles including two-wheelers proceeding from Nagercoil to Tirunelveli will be diverted via Laayam intersection, Laayam, Kannanputhur, Shenbagaramanputhur, NSK College turning and Marappaalam to reach Aaralvoimozhi.

Vehicles coming to Nagercoil from Tirunelveli will be diverted via Marappaalam, NSK College turning, Shenbagaramanputhur, Kannanputhur, Laayam and Laayam intersection.

Heavy vehicles coming from Tirunelveli to places like Thuckalay will be diverted via Marappaalam, NSK College and Thuvarankaadu, the police said.
