Top police officials visit R.K. Nagar

City Police Commissioner Karan Singha has said that elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure a free and fair byelection in R.K. Nagar.

Mr. Singha, along with other top police officials, visited the constituency on Monday and inspected security arrangements there. He held consultations with Corporation Commissioner D. Karthikeyan regarding the preparations for the bypoll. Addressing the press, he said that over 50 polling booths in R.K. Nagar have been identified as trouble-prone.
