Appointment orders and promotion letters were issued to 46 staff and workers of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Division IV) here on Tuesday.
While handing over the orders to workers, Dindigul Division General Manager K. Manickavasakam said promotion and appointment orders were issued to workers on seniority basis.
Two senior assistants were promoted as supervisors and 14 conductors as ticket checking inspectors, and orders were given to 30 temporary drivers and conductors.
Mr. Manickavasakam appealed to all the workers to work hard for better output and help the corporation function efficiently.
Joint efforts were essential for its effective functioning, he added.
Assistant General Manager K. Thirugnanasambandam and Deputy Manager G. Ganesan were present.
