TNCC to submit list of corrupt Ministers to Governor

April 24, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - NAGERCOIL:

The Congress will hand over the list of corrupt ministers in the State government to Governor K. Rosaiah on May 2, said TNCC President E.V.K.S. Elangovan here on Thursday.

Addressing reporters on the sidelines of inauguration of the party office for Kanyakumari East district at the Women’s Christian College Road here, Mr. Elangovan said corruption was deep-rooted in each and every State government department.

Congress leaders will take out a rally to the Raj Bhavan on May 2 in Chennai and would submit the list to Mr. Rosaiah, he said.

Mr. Elangovan said the arrest of the former Agriculture Minister Agri S. Krishnamoorthy and cancelling land for Coca-Cola plant in Perundurai were the recent successes for his party. The AIADMK was supporting the BJP-led NDA government’s Land Acquisition Bill at the Centre to safeguard its leader from the disproportionate assets case, Mr. Elangoan alleged.
