PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss on Saturday said that Tamil Nadu students have been left in the lurch after it became apparent that medical counselling will be completed based on NEET results.

In a statement, Dr. Ramadoss said the main issues related to Tamil Nadu such as creation of the Cauvery Management Board and NEET could have been solved during presidential polls. The AIADMK could have made resolution of pending issues a pre-condition to support BJP candidates for president and vice-president. State Board students won’t get even 10% seats through NEET. “A major share of the seats will go to CBSE students,” Dr. Ramadoss added.
