S. Rajasekaran, chairman, department of orthopaedic and spine surgery, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, has been elected president of the Cervical Spine Research Society–AP, a press release said.

He was also elected to chair the next annual meeting in March 2018 in India. The society is an organisation that aims at promoting research, academics and collaboration between surgeons worldwide in the field of spine surgery of the neck region.
