The Hindu Education Plus Career Fair in Puducherry

The Hindu Education Plus Career Fair 2010 is here. The fair, presented by VIT University, will be held on May 28 and 29 at Jayaram Thirumana Nilayam.

The objective of the fair is to educate students on the various higher studies options available to them after the completion of Class 12. Counselling on career options, seminars on employability and offbeat courses, and psychometric tests are among the many activities planned for the fair.

The programme will include a pre-counselling guidance programme for professional courses by educationists. Apart from those who have completed Class 12, students from Class 9 to Class 12, graduates interested in taking up higher studies or jobs, college students, and their parents may attend the fair. Several leading engineering colleges, medical colleges, hotel management schools, arts and science colleges, business schools, animation institutes, and many other leading institutions are expected to put up stalls.

To participate in the psychometric test, which will evaluate the aptitude of students, registration must be completed online at www.bodhi.co.in. A free handbook titled ‘Carving your future' will be given to all participants of the fair.

The associate sponsor of the event is Surya Group of Institutions and the co-sponsors are Global Institute of Engineering and Technology and Image College of Arts, Animation and Technology. Radio Partner is Suryan FM Puducherry.

Psychometric test

The psychometric test is being sponsored by BODHI, and prizes for the winners of the test are sponsored by Sri Lakshmi Jewellery.
