Here is a chance, in the form of The Hindu Education Plus Career Counselling 2016, for parents and students to convert the challenges into opportunities by making nuanced decisions.
The Hindu Education Plus Career Counselling 2016 will not be a run-of-the-mill event as it has been planned to throw more light on areas which have potential for a successful career. The participants will also be familiarised with the annual admission matrix to professional courses.
The event, presented by VIT University and powered by Kalasalingam University, will be held at the Nellai Sangeetha Sabha in Tirunelveli on April 16, Saturday. It will be inaugurated by Nandhini Vishnu, Assistance Commissioner of Income Tax, who will also deliver a talk on opportunities in Civil Services.
Expert talks on opportunities in science and engineering courses will be delivered by D. Thanasekaran, Additional General Manager, Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, and Samuel Johnson of VIT University. Career consultant Jayaprakash Gandhi will take the participants through career options.
S. Arumugam, Director, National Centre for Advanced Research in Discrete Mathematics, Kalasalingam University, will deliver a special lecture on the importance of mathematics in various stages of education.’
