Thanjavur MLA, Mayor receive petitions

In the continuing process of reaching out to citizens, Thanjavur MLA M. Rengasamy and Mayor Savithri Gopal along with the corporation officials received petitions from public and residents welfare organisations in several parts of the city on Wednesday. They assured the residents that their demands for relaying of roads, extension of potable water supply, clearing of accumulated garbage, and so on will be met within a time frame.

The elected representatives also listed the work that was carried out in the respective areas and assured the people that the benefits would continue to flow.
