Continuing with the allocation of Rs. 3 crore towards conducting awareness campaigns against consumption of liquor, the State government announced it would allocate the same amount this year too. Like last year, Rs. 5 crore would be earmarked for providing assistance for rehabilitating persons, who have been weaned away from illicit distillation.
