PMK youth wing leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Saturday said that the people of Tamil Nadu are being ridiculed by the people of other States, thanks to events that have unfolded in the recent times.

Speaking at a public meeting here, Dr. Anbumani said, “Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh has introduced something called ‘Real Time’ governance. The CM and his Ministers are sitting with their laptops and gadgets and keeping a tab on governance. The youth of the State are proudly saying that they are from Andhra. Can our youth say this? Edappadi K. Palaniswami is not even fit to be a councillor, but he is the Chief Minister. Whose fault is this? Is it the fault of the people,” Dr. Anbumani asked.

Backs Kamal

He backed actor Kamal Haasan over his comments about R.K. Nagar people receiving money to vote.

Dr. Anbumani also said that MGR didn’t become Chief Minister one fine day and was always involved in politics.

“When I was studying in college, Rajinikanth said he ‘will come’; now my daughter is in college. Even now, he is not clear on which Assembly elections he will contest,” Dr. Anbumani said.
