Tamil Nadu govt allots fund to Industrial Estate in Coimbatore

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Sunday ordered the development of infrastructure facilities at the cost Rs.two crore at the industrial estate in Malumichampatti, Coimbatore district.

According to an official press release, the development works include providing infrastructural facilities like formation of new roads, construction of storm water drains, culverts, providing water supply, sewage system, street lighting, planting saplings.

“Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSMEs) play major role for the economic development and sustainable growth and also create employment opportunities. Hence, the State government under Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has been encouraging these industries by extending sops to them”, the release added.

The release also added that Ms.Jayalalithaa already had ordered the increase of ceiling for granting subsidy for setting up electric generator to the industries. The government has taken several steps for promoting the industries.
