Actor T. Rajendher, managing director, Kural TV Creations Private Limited, filed a cheating complaint against two persons with the Chennai police commissioner on Monday.
Mr. Rajendher in his complaint alleged Ramji Soma and Talvindar Bath had been engaged as agents in 2011 for roping in international music artistes including Akon, David Guetta and Nicole Scherzinger for T.R. Silambarasan’s album, ‘Love Anthem’.
In his complaint, Mr. Rajendher accused the two persons of having received the payment of US $ 2,00,010 in four instalments through electronic bank transfers, but failing to bring in the artistes and cheating the company.
Subsequently, the company had availed the services of M/s. Traktical Entertainment to engage Akon to complete the album, thereby incurring additional expenses, he added.
