Survey of condition of fire extinguishers in govt. schools ordered

The Directorate of Elementary Education has directed officials to take a survey of the functioning condition of fire extinguishers commissioned at the government elementary schools and middle schools across the State.

The Directorate has sent a directive in this regard to all the district elementary education officers.

The government has commissioned fire extinguishers in all the government elementary schools and middle schools across the State in the interest of safety of the student community.

Report

The heads of these schools should ensure that all the fire extinguishers are in a working condition and a report in this regard should be sent to the district elementary education officers.

The personnel of the Fire and Rescue Services Department are expected to inspect the working condition of the fire extinguishers at the beginning of the next academic year.
