Superfast express train between Chennai, Santragachi

A fully air-conditioned bi-weekly superfast express train service connecting Chennai and Santragachi in Kolkata will be introduced from Santragachi on January 21 and from Chennai Central on January 23.

The train (22807) Santragachi – Chennai Central AC bi-weekly superfast express will leave Santragachi at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and arrive at Chennai Central at 10.45 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The train (22808) Chennai Central – Santragachi AC bi-weekly superfast express will leave Chennai Central at 7.55 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays and arrive at Santragachi at 10.25 a.m. on Fridays and Mondays.

The trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot Jn, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Sullurupeta.

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on Saturday.

The Railways will also permanently augment by one AC 3-tier coach the trains (12851/12852) Bilaspur-Chennai Central-Bilaspur weekly express from February 2 at Bilaspur and from February 3 at Chennai Central.
