Students conduct dengue awareness camp

National Service Scheme (NSS) students of Arunai College of Engineering conducted dengue awareness camp in Keel Kachirappattu village near here on Friday.

About 150 students spread awareness message on dengue to the villagers. Kattampoondi block medical officer Buvaneswari, panchayat president Kalaiselvi Muthukumar, Siddha medical officer Durai Vinayaka, college director Pon Muthu, principal D.Dhandapani and NSS programme officers M.Ravichandran and Sivaprakasam participated in a meeting organised as part of the camp. Siddha preparation of Nilvembu Kudineer was given to villagers to improve immunity to the dengue.
