Students must cultivate habits of hardworking and critical thinking which alone can make their career successful, Collector S. Natarajan has said.

Addressing a function held at Muslim Higher Secondary School, Melapalayam here on Saturday to felicitate A. Satham Hussain, who bagged State second rank in the SSLC public examination this year, he said that students should learn to convert obstructions they encounter on their way as stepping stones through their sustained hard work and critical thinking. Since time and tide would wait for none, students should learn to work hard throughout their career to make use of the opportunities that come their way.

“Though it will be bit painful, do whatever teachers ask you to do and work methodically so that you can come up in life,” Mr. Natarajan said.
