Steady rise in inflow into Mettur dam

Heavy rains in the Coorg area in Karnataka have resulted in a steady rise in the inflow into the Mettur dam today, from 41,000 cusecs in the morning to 52,628 cusecs in the afternoon, sources in Tamil Nadu’s Public Works Department said.

They said the outflow was reduced to 16,593 cusecs and that the level has touched 94.11 feet against its full level of 120 feet.
