The Tamil Nadu government, on Wednesday, issued transfers and postings for 23 IPS officers, making changes across the cadre throughout the State.
S.Xavier Dhanaraj, SP, Thiruvarur, has been posted as SP, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, and his place is being taken by M.Annadurai, currently SP, Special Branch Security II, CID. R. Balasubramanian, SP, Kanyakumari, will take Mr. Annadurai's post, and S.Lakshmi, currently SP, CCIW CID, will be SP, Kanyakumari. A.G.Babu, SP, Vellore, has been posted as SP, Railways, Tiruchy; and his post will be filled by A.Kayalvizhi, SP, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.
R.Tamilchandran, currently SP, Railways, Tiruchi, has been transferred as SP, Pudukottai in place of S.Pattabi who will assume charge as SP, Police Training College, Chennai. A.Chandrasekaran, SP, Dindigul, will take charge as SP, Coastal Security Group, Nagapattinam, in a newly-created post; and A. Saravanan, who is currently SP, Special Branch Security 1, CID, will replace him.
T.Jeyachandran, SP, Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Madurai, has been posted in place of Mr. Saravanan, while N.Z.Asiammal, SP, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Western Range, Chennai, will take charge in place of Mr. Jeyachandran. R.S.Nallasivam, JC, Intelligence, Greater Chennai Police has been posted as DIG, Tirunelveli Range; K.N.Sathiyamurthy, DIG, CID, Intelligence, Chennai has been transferred as DIG, Madurai Range.
Vinith Dev Wankhede, DIG, Villupuram Range, has been posted as DIG, Technical Services, Chennai; while V.A.Ravikumar, DIG, Thanjavur Range, has been posted as DIG, Armed Police, Chennai, and M.Ramasubramani, DIG, Vellore Range will now go as DIG of the Armed Police, Tiruchy. P.Sakthivelu, JC, Traffic (South) Greater Chennai, will now take charge as DIG, Vellore. B.Balanagadevi, DIG, Coimbatore Range, has been posted as DIG, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai; and H.M.Jayaram, JC, Traffic (North), Greater Chennai, has been posted in her place.
K.Vanniaperumal, IG West zone, Coimbatore, has been posted as IG, Chief Vigilance Officer, State Transport Corporation, Madurai, in a newly-created post. K.Sokkalingam, IG, Commissioner, Salem City, has exchanged places with Kanhu Charan Mahali, IG, Central Zone, Tiruchy.
