Stalin calls on Sonia

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister M.K.Stalin, who is in New Delhi to attend a meeting on internal security of Chief Ministers, called on Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence around noon.

During the short meeting, Mr.Stalin briefed her about projects in Tamil Nadu. Earlier, he garlanded a portrait of former Union Minister Murasoli Maran. He also met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Rajesekhara Reddy and Home Minister P.Chidambaram

He is expected to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh before returning to Chennai later tonight.
