The Railways will operate Coimbatore – Chennai Central – Coimbatore superfast special trains via Tirupattur, Morappur, Salem, Erode and Tirupur.
The special trains will be operated from Coimbatore on July 15 and from Chennai Central on July 18.
The train No. 06022 special train will depart from Coimbatore Central on July 15 (Friday) at 11 a.m.; Tiruppur at 11.40 a.m.; Erode 12.30 p.m.; Salem 1.35 p.m.; Morappur at 2.40 p.m.; Tirupattur 3.25 p.m. and will reach Chennai Central at 7.35 p.m.
The train no. 06021 Chennai Central – Coimbatore will depart from Chennai Central on July 18 (Monday) at 9.30 a.m.; Tirupattur at 1.03 p.m.; Morappur at 1.45 p.m.; Salem 2.55 p.m.; Erode 4.05 p.m.; Tiruppur 4.40 p.m.; and will reach Coimbatore at 6 p.m.
These trains will also stop at Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Gudiyatham, Katpadi, Walajah Road, Arakkonam.
The Coimbatore – Chennai Central express will halt at Perambalur and the Chennai Central – Coimbatore express will halt at Coimbatore North station, an official press release of the Salem Railway Division issued here on Monday said.
Advance bookings for the above trains are now open, the release added.
