Special train to Nagercoil from Chennai

Southern Railway will run a special train between Chennai Central and Nagercoil to clear the rush.

Train No.0623 will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. on Fridays from July 23 to November 26 (except August 20 and 27) and reach Nagercoil at 2 p.m. the next day.

In the return direction, train No.0624 will leave Nagercoil at 12.45 p.m. on Sundays from July 25 to November 28 (except August 22 and 29) and reach Central at 3.45 a.m. the next day.

The composition will be one AC two-tier, one AC three-tier, 8 sleeper class, 3 general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur.

Reservation is available, according to a railway release.
