Special train to Chennai on Oct. 22

MADURAI

Southern Railway will run Suvidha Special Train from Nagercoil to Chennai Egmore (via. Madurai, Mayiladuthurai) on October 22.

The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Suvidha Special Train (No. 82616) would leave Nagercoil at 5 p.m. on October 22 and reach Chennai Egmore at 7.20 a.m. the next day, a statement said.

The train would have 10 Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

It would have stoppages at Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Chidambaram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam.

Ticket reservation for the train would commence at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

Reservation centres

Computerised passenger reservation centres in Madurai Division of Southern Railway would function in one shift between 8.00 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday (October 18) on account of Deepavali.
