Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Division IV) will operate special buses to Velankannai from Dindigul from August 28 to September 9 to enable devotees to take part in the annual festival of Arokiamatha Church, according to TNSTC Managing Director (in-charge) R. Muthukrishnan.
In a press release issued here on Wednesday, he said 60 buses would be operated between Dindigl and Velankannai during the festival days. Two teams of officials had been constituted at Velankanni and Dindigul to monitor the special services round the clock. The festival would commence on August 29 and conclude on September 9, he added.
