The IAF helicopter by which President Pranab Mukherjee was going to travel to Puducherry from here on Wednesday developed a snag just before takeoff. The President, on his way to attend a convocation at Pondicherry University, had boarded the helicopter when the glitch came to light. He left for Puducherry around 10.45 a.m. in another helicopter, sources said.
