Actor Shruti Haasan has lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Police against a stalker, who had allegedly tried to force his way inside her Mumbai residence on Tuesday morning.
Police said they have recovered the CCTV footage of the building and the accused has been identified as one Ashok Jain.
Police said the security guard, who had stopped the accused at a film set recently, identified him.
According to Ms. Haasan’s public relations team, the man has been following the actor for around a year. He also tried to get closer to her on the sets of her recently released Bollywood movie Ramaiya Vastavaiya but the film crew managed to throw him out of the set, they said.
