: The government on Thursday effected another minor reshuffle of IPS officers in the State.

Md. Shakeel Akhter has been posted as Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, Chennai, in the existing vacancy. T.P. Sundaramurthy, IG, Elections, Chennai, has been posted as IG, Establishment, Chennai. P. Sakthivelu has been posted as DIG, Armed Police, Chennai. R.S. Nallasivam, DIG, Intelligence, Chennai, has been posted as DIG, Headquarters, Chennai.

K.N. Sathiyamurthy, DIG, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Chennai Police, has been posted as DIG, Intelligence. M. Pandian, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Section, Chennai Police, has been posted as SP, Special Branch CID, Chennai, in place of C. Chandrasekar, transferred.

R. Balasubramanian has been posted as SP, Anti Dacoity Cell, Chennai, in the exiting vacancy. V. Balakrishnan has been posted as SP, Tiruppur District. K. Shanmugavel has been posted as SP, Tamil Nadu Commando Force, Chennai.

Sonal V. Misra has been posted as SP, Crime Branch CID (Cyber Crime) Chennai. N. Arivuselvam has been posted as DCP, Headquarters, Madurai City. S. Manoharan has been posted as SP, Kancheepuram district. S. Rajendran has been posted as SP, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, Chennai, in place of Hema Karunagaran, transferred. A. Saravanan, DCP, Security, Chennai Police, has been posted as SP, Special Branch CID, Security – I, Chennai, in place of R. Balasubramanian who has been transferred.
