A Science Park established at the Collector’s office campus in Perambalur was thrown open for public use on Monday.

The park was established at the space on Collector’s office campus where a children’s park was functioning earlier.

Apart from various play equipment, the park also houses models demonstrating many scientific concepts.

An entry fee of Re.1 for children and Rs.2 for adults would be collected. School students would be admitted between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the park would be open for individual visitors between 5.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

A renovated walking track could be used by the general public, an official release said.
