Science camp from May 6 to 8

The District Science Centre, Vellore, would be conducting a 3-day summer science camp for school students studying in standards VI to X on its premises in Sathuvachari here from May 6 to 8.

According to a release from J.R. Pazhaniswamy, District Science Officer, the camp would include practical demonstrations, awareness-cum-training on yoga, herbal plants, origami, sky observation, simple learning of science, astronomy, basic science, robotics and lectures on the above subjects.

The camp would be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all three days.

Interested students can register their names at the District Science Centre by paying a fee of Rs. 600 before May 4.

Only the first 60 students would be allowed to attend the camp. Camp materials, meals and certificates would be provided to the participants.
