School fees: final hearing on November 29

The final hearing of the case relating to the fee structure in private unaided schools will be held on November 29, the Madras High Court said on Wednesday.

Justice K.B.K. Vasuki fixed the date after hearing Additional Advocate General P. Wilson and senior counsel N.R. Chandran and others who represented the schools. On Tuesday, the Judge stayed the operation of the fee structure fixed by Justice Govindarajan Committee.

Mr. Wilson wanted an early hearing of the case.
