SASTRA University, Thanjavur, has withdrawn its quota of seats for the AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) pool.

According to a university press release, the university was “forced to withdraw from AIEEE-2010 due to certain unreasonable conditions and last minute changes made by the Central Counselling Board.” However, the university will fill 30 per cent of the B.Tech seats using AIEEE 2010 ranks.

Apply separately

The release instructed aspiring candidates to apply separately after obtaining AIEEE-2010 ranks.

The last date for receiving application forms for admissions based on AIEEE-2010 will be announced shortly after ascertaining the date of AIEEE-2010 results. Counselling dates will be fixed accordingly, the release said.
