Sankararaman case adjourned to April 16

The Principal District and Sessions Judge, C.S. Murugan, on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the Sankararaman murder case to April 16.

As many as 13 of the 23 accused, including junior seer Vijayendra Saraswathi, were present in the court. The documents related to the recent murder of Kathiravan, who was the prime accused in the Sankararaman murder, were presented to the judge.

N. Devadoss, Special Public Prosecutor, said the case had almost reached to the final stage as arguments of the prosecution and defence lawyers had already been completed.
