Sakuntala Subramaniam.
Sakuntala Subramaniam, wife of C. Subramaniam, former Union Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee, passed away in Erode on Friday night. She was 93. She is survived by two daughters and a son.
Sakuntala Subramaniam had been a pillar of strength to C. Subramaniam and a great source of inspiration in his long political career and nation-building mission.
