The head of an anti-social element was chopped off by his rivals in the Manimangalam forest and thrown before the Kattankulathur bus stand.

Unidentified persons who came on bikes threw a plastic bag containing the man’s head at the busy bus stand located off the GST Road and sped away. People who gathered at the bus stand and the office of the Block Development Officer located nearby were shocked at the brazen act.

The Maraimalai Nagar police recovered the severed head.
