The Tamil Nadu government has posted S. Krishnan, principal secretary, planning development and special initiatives department, as principal secretary to the government, housing and urban development department.
Sources said the posting of Mr. Krishnan as housing secretary was effected in response to a request from Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam, who holds the housing portfolio too.
He will replace Dharmendra Pratap Yadav who has now been posted as secretary to the government, micro, small and medium enterprises department.
The State government also transferred Mangat Ram Sharma, principal secretary, micro, small and medium enterprises department, and posted him as principal secretary, labour and employment department.
