City Police Commissioner A. Amalraj has clamped regulatory order under Section 41 of the Tamil Nadu City Police Act, 1997 (Extended to the cities of Salem, Tiruchi and Tirunelveli) for 15 days from midnight of March 4.

12 injured
Twelve passengers of a TNSTC bus, and a private bus were injured after they collided at Udayapatti on the Salem — Attur Road here on Wednesday evening. Eight have been admitted to a private hospital, and four at Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital.
