RBI officials hold meeting with KVB

Reserve Bank of India, Chennai, conducted a Town Hall meeting on MSME related issues at the Karur Vysya Bank in Karur recently.

The meeting was chaired by J. Sadakkadulla, Regional Director, RBI-Chennai.

K. Venkatraman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, KVB; K. Raju, President, Karur Chamber of Commerce and Industry; V. Durai, General Manager, District Industries Centre; and officials from various banks and SIDBI participated in the meeting.

Nearly 200 entrepreneurs attended the meeting and benefited from the interaction with the bankers and SIDBI. Various issues pertaining to MSME sector such as difference in rate of interest from bank to bank were discussed at the meeting, a KVB release said.
