Actor Rajinikanth spent another day at St. Isabel's Hospital, here, where he was admitted on Wednesday evening with breathlessness and fever.

According to hospital sources, he was ‘responding well to treatment' and had been given nebulisers to handle the bronchial allergy.

He was breathing normally, had eaten well, and interacted cheerfully with family members who came to visit him during the day. It is learnt that Rajinikanth has been advised to stay for one more day at the hospital, as his doctors believe that enforced rest would do him a lot of good, and help him recover faster.
