Difficulty in communication

Autism is a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterised by great difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people in using language and abstract concepts. Early speech or behavioural interventions can help children with autism gain self-care, social and communication skills. With a view to create this awareness on autism and help autistic children, United Nations has declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day. It suggested displaying blue lights on important building and landmarks on this day.
