PT warrant against 2 accused

A prisoner on transit warrant was issued against two accused – Partha alias Madasamy and Nattu alias Nataraj – in the case relating to the murder of Federation of Devendrakula Vellalar founder C. Pasupathi Pandian here on Monday. Amid tight security, 11 out of total 18 accused, including Subhash Pannaiyar, appeared before the Principal District-cum-Sessions Court.

Principal District cum Sessions Judge R. Pongiappan adjourned the case to April 22 for further hearing. Partha and Nattu did not appear before the court till date, the judge directed the police to produce them before the court.

Subhash Pannaiyar, Nirmala, Arul Mani, Ramesh, Shanmugam, Prabhu, Anandhan, Dharasingh, Arulanandham, Shanmuga Sundaram and Arumugasamy appeared before the court this morning. . – Staff Reporter
